Dr. Keira Troxell received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC
Davis in 2004, and has been living and working in Butte County since
then.

She shares her farm with four dogs, one cat (who thinks she is a dog), a miniature horse, and a fine flock of hens, including Barred Plymouth Rocks, Silver-Laced Wyandottes, and Cuckoo Marans.
Along with her passion for caring for animals, she enjoys creating art, and has exhibited her artwork in several juried shows in Chico, and has won several awards. She also enjoys working with her Australian Shepherds, kayaking, cooking, and of course spending time with her family!
